When you model a floor or structural slab etc. then tag it, the tag nicely centres itself about the slab. Nice gesture, but only useful when the tag is dropped the first time.
If I move a tag into different position to suit other annotations and graphic quality in that view, this relocated position is where I want the tag to stay for the duration of the project regardless of whether or not I change the slab geometry. (When slab geometry is changed the tag re-centres itself to the new geometry).
Is there something within the tag family that can be disabled so that tags don’t move when I edit the slab? Changing the geometry of the slab is likely going to happen many times in the duration of many projects. This revit-ism of relocating the slab tag for me every time I update a slab shape is counter-productive to getting the actual drawing views complete. If my slab tag shows up in multiple views I don’t want to have to predict how many of my views this slab tag has moved in.
Pinning them does not stop this behaviour.
