Revit TMP files in my local temp directory. What are those?

In my local temp. directory I always find 0 KB *.tmp files, examples here below:

Revit{00A1D28D-96C9-4BDB-A935-66F0C14EA33D}.tmp
Revit{00C8E177-5054-4A55-9712-917870E64E94}.tmp

It is very annoying and I have to delete a huge number of them after i exit Revit.
Is there a way to avoid it?

Your thoughts about it will be highly appreciated.

I have the same question.
Have you had any luck on figuring out what these 0kb files are?
Or if there is a way to avoid them being created?

I get the Revittemp_?.tmp files as well, but they have size and seem to be deleted once Revit is closed.

It seems to me that the issue does not always occurs. Possibly it has to do while I edit a family and reload it that is present in the project file.
