Question Two different walls in the same plane with different materials - no divide line in elevation?

I have noticed this in the past often occurring... wondering if there is something that can be done... and anyone else have this issue?

I see it most often when I have GB finish wall in line with a CMU wall. There is no divide line between the two materials when seen elevation.

Do you create the walls as two separate walls, or as a stacked wall, or a split wall or what?
