    Default MP308-3: Heating and Cooling Load Calculations and Energy Model Development From an Autodesk Revit MEP Model Utilizing gb

    Class Description: This class focuses on the workflow of the mechanical designer or engineer who utilizes Revit MEP to perform heating and cooling load calculations and develop an ASHRAE 90.1/LEED® energy model. The class will address the use of gbXML to export building geometry and load information into applications such as IES-VE, Autodesk Ecotect®, and Trane® Trace™ 700. This includes typical issues such as room and space bounding, curtain walls, ceilings, and multi-level volumes. GBXML’s import/export capabilities will be uncovered. The final topic is importing gbXML results into a Revit MEP model to aid in design and documentation.
