Default CV9200-1: Engineering Geology with AutoCAD: Go Solid!

    Instructor: Robert Marschallinger

Class Description: Learn how to represent and integrate outcrop and borehole data, geophysical and subsurface infrastructure data in 3D, and create internally consistent solid models of geology and infrastructure. Blend the solids by Boolean operations to derive arbitrary profile sections, synthetic drillings or excavated rock masses, and round-trip the derived 3D models with Autodesk® Design Review in the geotechnical work group. The presented work flows apply to excavation pit design, tunnelling, open-pit, and subsurface mining as well.
