Rtext and Sheetset values?

Is there a way to have rtext read a sheetset value?

Example Using Rtext for SheetNumber

not as far as Iknow -- but a filed will, and is a much better option than rtext

we use fields now, but hey are in each individual drawing.

I am trying to put the sheet number & sheet name in the titleblock xref. Lately our clients(Architects) have been adjusting their titleblocks frequently. This causes us to go into each sheet and move our sheet numbers and names. I am trying to avoid this excess work.

You should be able to go into the reference file and have a field to read the current sheetset drawing number or drawing name. I would also recommend sending a bill to the architect that is changing this continually. Even if it never gets paid you have drawn the attention to the fact that they are creating additional work on themselves as well as you and this was never part of the original project scope.
