Default Can't convert Instance's Host to Work Plane. Try resetting Host to a Level.

Hi all, this is my problem:

I created a line based generic model family, and loaded into my project. I started using it but half way i noticed that i needed to schedule the placement level, so i did edit the family and check "work plane based" in the family editor, Now here is the problem: every instance that i make from here has his level on the schedule (i pick "place on workplane" when i draw it) but the existing instances dont display the parameter, and i cant make any change on them, not even edit a custom parameter, it shows me the warning "Can't convert Instance's Host to Work Plane. Try resetting Host to a Level.) and i definetelly dont know how to do that.

Can anybody help me please? Thanks.

Default Re: Can't convert Instance's Host to Work Plane. Try resetting Host to a Level.

I'm getting the error when try to apply the 'Label' parameter is a workplane hosted object. Which is weird because the host is a named workplane.
    Revit bug?
