DTCP I-Properties not available - Help!!

Hi,

I've a win7, 64bit workstation with both Inventor 2010(activated) and Inventor 2013 (activated).

Inventor 2013 works perfectly but when I open Inventor 2010 theI-properties does not work and just states:

"Plugin not available or not properlyinstalled.
Notify the system administrator that the installation isincomplete.
DTCP"

I have tried the "Repair" feature for 2010, asmentioned in a similar thread, and although this does solve the problem assoon as I open up Inventor 2013 again, close this down and then open upInventor 2010 exactly the same thing happens again in Inventor 2010!!

Does anyone know how to solve this problem as the"Repair" feature takes 45 mins to do on my work computer each time!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have the DTCPexe.exe file in your C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 2010\Bin folder? I don't have Inventor 2010 installed but on other versions there is for each version a DTCPexe.exe file. And it looks like that which Inventor version was latest active the iPropertie function of that version is used. Maybe you can search for the file on your installation disc. An other option can maybe copy the DTCPexe.exe file from the 2013 Bin folder to the 2010 folder. But that's at your own risk.
