Default Adding part information to modeled part.

    Hello everyone,

I know that in an assembly I can click the BOM icon and I am able to add part information to each element that makes up my assembly such as:
part numbers, cost, remarks, and even custom properties.

So what happens if I model let's say a metal bracket and I save it into my library of parts. I would like to populate that part with the similar information as I mentioned above so that if and when it is inserted into an assembly, I don't have to re-key the information manually. If this possible if so can you please tell me where to look within the software of even the help file? I have had no luck.

    Thank you.

When you open your part, Right mouse click on the partname in the browser and choose iProperties. Or do you mean something else?

Thank you, that is what I learned and I also learned to add custom properties. I really appreciate the help.
I also learned a bit about iparts, I have a question but I am afraid to post it.

    Here it is:

If I make an ipart with a custom parameter for length (custom factory I believe it the terminology) When I bring such part into the assembly, I would like to "activate and drag" some sort of handle to size it rather then having to go the browser and right click on the table. I m afraid what I am asking is not possible / not a feature of the software.
