Regarding View Filters, under Visibility/Graphics Overrides, their order is important and has an impact on the graphics of the View. This is not apparent until you have View Filters with criteria that overlap, which is more common in the MEP disciplines. If you wish for them to be in alphabetical order, use the "Up" and "Down" buttons to manually adjust the list if it is that important.
However, in the Filters dialog (after clicking "Edit/New..."), I do agree that the list of View Filters in the left pane should appear in alphabetical order, instead of in the order in which they were created.
