Parametric Shapes/Extrusions

I have some decent experience creating Revit families, but I am looking for some information. I would like to create an extrusion in which I can flex into different shapes. For example, create a cube and then flex it into a rhombus like shape. Essentially I would like to create a roof curb that I can flex the base to match the slope of the roof pitch. Also, I do not want it face based.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry for the late response...

I would suggest creating the Extrusion as Blend Extrusion. The Profiles for the Top and Bottom can be parametrically controlled independently of each other, so you can set it up so that you can shift the Top Profile in any direction. If you create the Extrusion in the Front/Back View in the Family, you should be able to build some slope adaption into it.

If you require more dramatic control of the shape, then you may be best with an additional Extrusion, which could be Joined with the original.

I'm just getting back on the forum with some other questions and noticed some responses to past questions.

I was able to create what I needed by locking a basic extrusion to reference planes. The challenge for me was to figure out how to flex the angle of the plane which I figured out. Thanks for the help though!!!
