Default Revit Tagging - Slab Reinforcement

    Hi Guys,
I'm trying to tidy up my area reinforcement tags for our slab designs. We use A B C & D as our bar notations with A being the first bar laid and D the last. At the moment I have a tag with 4 separate types for either the A, B, C or D bars using a visibility switch/parameter. Which is OK but I would like to make the tag a little smarter. Is there a way to use a formula to trigger the relevant tag instead of the visibility parameter?
I've attached a copy of the tag family
Interested to see if you guys have any ideas.
    Warm Regards

Tag's are simply showing data from the element tagged so there's no way to use formula in a tag.
