Default Unable to export to SketchUp using SimLab SKP exporter--can anyone help?

    Hi,

I have a Revit file I created of a house. My client asked for a version of it in SketchUp. I downloaded and installed and licensed the SimLab SKP exporter, but it only produces errors when exporting this file; it can't do it.

Would anyone else out there be willing to try to export it to SketchUp for me? I'd appreciate that!

The file is too large to post here (40MB). I would be happy to send it to you via HighTail file transfer. Please reply to this thread if you are interested in helping me; I will receive the notification. Much appreciated.

You would probably get a better answer on the Sim Lab forum.
That being said, you can export a dwg file from Revit and import this in SketchUp. This works quite nicely but you lose the materials. I export the dwg file with the options set to acis solids and all the pieces come into Skecthup as solid groups. Maybe this is an avenue for you.
