Default Printing Transparancy ON causes "Not Responding" and "circle of Death".

System info: Windows 7, Hp Z210.
    Printing to: Hp Designjet 4000
    AutoCAD 2014.

When I have a drawing with aerial, overlay with hatch with transparency applied, once I try to print, it processes indefinetly until I close program. (process window says "Not Responding") I have given it over a 1/2 hour to process to no avail.

In order to print the file, I need to save as PDF, then it prints fine.

    Any experience with this?

Transparency plotting outputs as a image which increases the file size dramatically. I've only attempted it once with similar results. I like the look of hatch lines better anyway.

one option may be to reduce the DPI of the plot that goes out. Reducing to 300 should still be decent -- although 200 dpi might be just a bit to coarse
