Hi all,
Very new to Revit (and this forum) but getting into the thick of it by creating families for our small-sized firm. Learning lots, but lots to learn...
Please see the attached file. I am trying to create a custom window opening (so that it can accommodate not just the window itself but our typical precast sill but still allow the interior wall finish (1.5cm plaster) continue up past it on the interior wall side.
Thus, I am trying to create a void that allows the interior wall finish to remain (not be cut by the custom void) where the sill meets the interior wall. I set up a sweep void and locked it to interior/exterior wall finish reference planes, the head reference line, the sill reference line, and the interior face of the core. I created a label for the dimension of the height of the interior wall finish to remain (Overall Sill Height). I had no trouble creating the void; however, now, when I try to flex the height, it does not work -- "constraints not satisfied."
Any help in this would be greatly appreciated! And of course, please let me know if you have any questions.
In advance, much thanks...
