Default Host family do not move void extrusion created

Hi, I am trying to create a face-based family with a void extrusion. The problem I am currently facing is the host does not move with my void when I adjusts the dimension of the void. I am unable to lock the void to the extrusion. Can somebody please help?

Default Re: Host family do not move void extrusion created

Is the void in the main family, or is the void nested within this family? Do you have reference planes setup in your family? Do you have labeled dimensions controlling your reference planes? If the void is within the same family, you'll need to edit the extrusion and constrain the boundary lines to those reference planes. If it is a nested void, you're going to have to do more work to get it to act the way you want. If you have dimension parameters within your void family, you can constrain them to the parent family's parameters.

If you upload your content, we can review it for you.

    Cheers,
