Roof Hatch on Roof shows up in plan below?

I have a roof hatch and ladder (hatch downloaded from content). When I place it onto the roof, it works fine. But, when I open the view to the floor below, the roof hatch still displays. I have my view range set properly. I don't know why this is happening. Any thoughts?

Hi Brad, the only thing I noticed is that the symbolic lines of the hatch are drawn in the ground floor plane, which means they will show at the main level the stairs start from. If you don't want to see them, either change the component (delete the symbolic lines, or cut them and paste them on the level of the roof) OR....

in your plan turn off the sub categories of the symbolic lines, which are "plan swing" and "equipment above" under "specialty equipment"
If you meant that the actual 3d is showing on your level below, then it is a different problem...I hope what I wrote above will help...

My problem IS the 3D showing on the plan below... I wish I could see the symbolic lines!

I would suggest then, changing the component to not show the 3d elements in any plan view...just the symbolic lines....this should work
