I am wondering if there is a way to get Civil3D 2015 to project a feature line as a cross section and make it appear as a line instead of a marker? I only see settings as markers.

Ok i a little bit confused you want to create a cross section or profile form a Feture line or do you want to project a Feture line in a cross section??
No. There is not a way to project a Feature Line object to a cross section and show it as a line.
You would need to create a marker style or label style to show a line at that location.

Actually, in the case of Cross sections and feature lines, you can create a block which can be used as the marker. When the feature line is projected to the cross section, set the marker style to that block. The cross section will now show whatever it is that you created. You can also select the feature line in the cross section itself, and change the style of it properties to be this block you created. As an additional option, you can also select that originally created feature line and change it's settings to use a different style and again select the block you create. Now they will show up in your section as you would like to see them.
