Don't Want Drawing1 on Startup

I just installed C3d 2016. When I start it up, it opens in Drawing1. The 2015 version didn't do this, or I switched it off and don't remember what I did. How can I keep Drawing1 from opening and simply open in the Start tab? TIA

Is this really a CAD Management issue?

Have you looked into the NEWTABMODE system variable? Setting it to 2 and making certain you do not have a default template assigned should do the trick.

It could be a CAD Management issue. I'm sure a moderator will be more than happy to stick it where it counts.

In 2016, there is no NEWTABMODE command. The next best thing is the STARTMODE command, but I don't see anywhere that says what controls the Drawing1 tab.
