Default What you see is what you get?

So I'm having a problem with Revit 2015 plotting how I want.

The attached JPGs are screen grabs of how it looks on my screen, which is how I want it. Particularly you can see walls are not shaded in 'On the screen 2.jpg' and there is a large cyan hatch over one of the buildings on 'On the screen 1.jpg'
The PDFs are how it comes out, with the cyan hatching hidden by the building and with the walls shaded in on the lighting plan

It's an electrical drawing with multiple linked revit files
The links are overridden to be electrical disipline and everything looks correct on screen, but they seem to decide to plot as if they were architectural

Does anyone know how to fix it? It's maddening...
