    Default Framing

    Hello everyone,

I just purchased ACA 2016. Is there a way for Floor and Roof framing to be done? Is there an Add In for these?

    Same short answer
    No.
You can do framing with structural objects. One of the tutorials when into a steel framed house and setting up the flooring using structural objects. I don't need it so have only ever played with the idea but it can be done.
For the flooring it's relatively easy because it's flat plane and ends are joins or mitres.
For a Roof it's more complicated because of the pitch cuts. Mitring two rafters to a ridge line is easy but less so for the gutter end. And setting them at the angle is not easy either. ie. it's very manual but you could build the whole roof and schedule it too. If you have a roof object or slabs you could use them as template for picking points I guess. I'm not proficient with Structural Objects either so it's a bit
