    Default extrude along 3d path

in the attached drawing I want to extrude the shape in black along the path in purple. I can't figure out how to turn the purple shape into a path. Any thoughts?

    Thanks for your help.

I've done it but, once again, this site isn't allowing me to upload files.

Copy the profile to the end of the arc. Set UCS to World and rotate the second profile 90 degrees.
Extrude each profile along its respective path.
In front view, SLICE the arc segment on the centreline of the arc, remove the right-hand end and MIRROR the lot.
    Union if required.

    Hi dennis,
use the PEDIT3D (free download from http://ant-ares.de/ - see downloads).
So you can create the 3DPath and than you should use the EXTRUDE without complications
    regards
    Jochen
BTW - cannot upload files too.
