Command Line has disappeared - PLEASE HELP

My command line has disappeared before...but in the past I have been able to get it back. Either by way of ctr-9 or shut-down and re-open. This time no such luck! It seems to be really gone. Toggling ctr-9 on and off doesn't seem to help. When ctr-9 is "on" and I start typing a command, I see options to complete my command in the extreme upper left of my screen, but no actual command line once I complete the command. I have resized and moved everything looking for it.

Sorry if this answer has already been answered. I spent a solid half-hour searching the forums, but haven't found anything recent or relevant.

AutoCAD bug that's been with us for years, can happen with all the Palettes.

Hello and welcome to the forums.

Let's do this using the CUI. Type CUI and then {ENTER}. In the upper left of the dialog, click on your current workspace. Then in the area to the right, called Workspace Contents, expand the Palettes collection and then select the Command Line palette. In the Properties control at the bottom, change Allow Docking to Yes and change Orientation to Bottom. Click the OK button at the bottom. This should cause the palette to appear at the bottom of the screen.
