I have a project that has been modeled off the wrong level. When I try to associate everything to the correct level, it changes elevation. Is their a way to lock everything in position and associate it to a different level without it moving?

You're probably better off renaming/relocating the levels.
This one has p..d me off since I first started using Revit. I actually brought it up to a visiting Autdesk Rep back in 2008 who said he'd make sure it was fixed, still have heard nothing despite bringing it up numerous more times.
The problem is that Revit seems to associate Ducts and Duct fittings differently:
If you have a duct run and select the duct and associate it to a different level, the duct will stay where it is but change its offset elevation to match the new level.
If you select the fitting and do it then the fitting will keep the same offset elevation value but move in space to the new level.
I don't care which one Autodesk chooses, I just wish they would standardize the way it works, or give you the choice of which to use.
