Just installed Autocad 2016 on my office machine with no problems (been running 2015). Then installed 2016 on my laptop (also been running 2015) and it says install was successful. Upon first Start, allowed me to migrate settings and customizations from the 2015 set, also says that was successful, but as it continues, did not actually complete the startup... Autocad banner displays, and status line scrolls through the usual "Initializing... Opening... etc... " comments, but then the Autocad banner just goes off, the Autocad icon in the system tray goes out, and my desktop goes back to idle without the program starting. It repeats this (without the migration detour) each time I try to run the program. I have uninstalled and then reinstalled three times with identical results. Any ideas? (By the way, it's a 64-bit version on an i7 machine, running Win7Pro).
