    Default Wall join question

I have no idea how to fix this. The new wall is w no hatch and the existing is filled. I am really new to this program and have tried a few tips. Can anyone help explain what I need to do. I think it is set in some property setting but their is so many in ACA. I am used to Revit. Thanks

Assuming that you have two single-component Walls and have the Shrink Wrap Hatch turned on for the horizontal Wall (looks that way, but cannot be sure from a screen capture), the only way to get the hatch in the horizontal Wall to run straight through (without a notch, which is what I assume you want), is to use two separate Wall Styles (if they are not already different styles) and then make certain that the priority number of the horizontal Wall component is lower than that that of the vertical Wall component (which makes it more important, and will run through the other Wall).

Just using the MatchProperties command to get one wall to match the other often does the trick.
You may have individual overrides set so not sure how that will apply to your situation.
