    Default Autoturn question

I'm a rookie at Autoturn, but can generally manage to struggle though a figure without crash, eventually. Maybe a scraped fender or two, but nothing fatal.

I need to set up a vehicle for a rowing shell transport trailer. And, since I don't want to overwrite anything, I want to copy a vehicle, and then edit it. The problem is that when I select the nearest vehicle, the Copy button disappears. Actually, any vehicle I highlight that has the "black truck w/ red plust sign" in the leftmost column causes the copy button to vanish. If the vehicls listing has an empty left-most column, the copoy button is available.

Not sure on the particulars on your end, and I do not have any TSEXT* vehicles here, but I am unable to reproduce the undesired behavior.

The appear to be the Transoft Extended libraries. The particular one I want to tweak is a 'Big Tex 18' gooseneck. - extending the trailer from 16' to 33'

It turns out this behavior is by design. Transoft does not want users to be able to copy or edit the vehicles in the Extended Libraries they sell. Presumably it's out of fear of their customers sharing customized vehicles amongst themselves....
