Default Saving to a newer version but retaining the original date created

I am trying to save an AutoCAD file to a newer version but it seems that the original 'date created' is being changed to today's date. Is there a way to avoid this?

    Welcome to AUGI.

Not really sure (never had reason to look into this?) - you might try storing this information in DWGPROPS though, as an alternative.

    Cheers

the *Nix operating systems have a handy utility called 'touch' that will rewrite dates.

    for windows, see http://ss64.com/ps/syntax-touch.html

or google touch windows for other options,

Aha - I understand what they meant now.

For that, I've always found this to be of great use; stand-alone executable, with no required installation, and source-code available to modify to suite.
