Default Transparent Cross Hatch Region lines covering Model Elements

    Hi All,

I am having a problem with a cross hatch filled region, the region is transparent so I can see what's underneath. My problem is that the cross hatch lines are grey and the grey lines of the region runs over the model elements. I tried sending it to back but it doesn't help.

I attached a screen shot to show what I mean.

Thanks a lot for your help.

What's the purpose of the hatch?
Maybe you could create this on another level and use that level as an underlay?

The purpose is to show certain material @ that location. Modeling that part isn't needed, that's why I used a 2d hatch region.
when I replaced the hatch region by an actual 3d element, like a slab with a surface pattern, it worked, but I wanted to know if there is a way to have the hatch pattern of the filled region not overlap the model elements. In general it doens't make any sense that a 2d pattern overlaps model elements.

    Thanks
