Default Structure profile offset direction label

    Hello everyone,
I am setting up my companies templates and styles and was wondering if there is a way to adjust the property fields in the text component editor (mainly the structure offset side) of my structure profile label. At my old company we used <[StructureOffset Side(CU)]>t. to show the offset as having a Lt. or Rt. direction instead of the L or R that the property field creates. That worked fine until you had no offset and ended up with 0.0' t. I was hoping I can go into the file and edit the structure offset side property field to include the t. as part of the label. That way when I have no offset it will only read 0.0' and not display a direction.

Does anyone know if this is possible? Have another solution? Or am I looking at telling everyone we can either use L and R with out the t for now on, or text override and delete the offset direction on structure labels that have no offset side.

    Thank you for any input.
    -Cheers

Have you looked into expressions? there's probably a way to include the "t" as a conditional

Why not just change the drawing settings, abbreviations to be "Lt" instead of "L" and "Rt " instead of "R"?

That way your Label's contents need not the "t" suffix at all.

Thank you guys for the input! BlackBox, I managed to stumble upon your suggestion shortly after I had posted and I did not receive any notification that anyone had posted to my thread and in my excitement I forgot to update it. Thank you for sharing, hopefully others will find this useful as well.

    Cheers
