Default Wall assembly preview problem in "type properties"

    Hello,

I'm having an issue concerning the preview of walls' assembly in the "type properties" :

If the view is set to "floor plan: modify type attributes", all it shows is an empty rectangle.

On the other hand if I choose "section: modify type attributes", there's no problem.

I'm suspecting a graphics problem, but that would mean I have to change the size of elements on Windows to a smaller setting, which would be annoying ...

This shows as intended. You can only edit the profile of this wall in section. Changes to the section will then be reflected on the plan but you can only apply profiles to your walls in the section area.

    Thanks for your answer.

While there's no significant impact from this problem, I was actually wondering if it's using french libraries in the english environment that causes that.

Anyways, I guess it's just one of the things to ignore

Well no you dont need to ignore it, its quite useful to know if ever you need to apply - say a chamfer, to the top of a wall. You need to make the wall profile first (you make a void at the right chamfer size) and then you apply that profile in the section view of that window. You can also add these kind of details to your walls http://www.designcontent.com.au/prod...s/wall-sweeps/
These are more for architectural cornices etc, but certainly, I use this tool to add chamfers to walls or modified section profiles - these dont happen too often but it is a useful tool to have in the kit.
