Post Spacing views on drawing sheet - with a determined dimension.

    Hi everyone,

I have two elements in a layout (sheet). I have aligned them at one end but now I need them to be a specific distance from each other. For example I need them to be .75" clear.
Is there a way to do this? I can't even dimension between parts.

Here is a screen shot. I am showing the past aligned on the left but I want to give a specific spacing for layout purposes - I need consistency.

If they need to be a specific distance apart, and able to be dimensioned, then they should be in the same assembly or presentation.

If you're just trying to get an even spacing then you can use a sketch in the drawing sheet.

    Good morning KCM,

I had thought of the assembly or presentation but only works in very specific cases. I think your idea of drawing a sketch on the sheet would work. I want to ask:
I noticed that you can't snap to the line you draw (the view). So is this purely done by eye balling?
