Let me preface this message by saying that you will not see many here that are more enthusiastic about the use and potential time-savings inherent with dynamic blocks.
HISTORY
For quite some time (since a final project went belly-up over this topic when creating a programmed block insert redefinition routine during an otherwise excellent, online and live class in VB.NET for AutoCAD), the anonymous name - assigned whenever there is a change to the default state of the dynamic block - has been the bane of my AutoCAD block-using existence.
EXPORTING THE REAL NAME
Other apps appear only to (Bluebeam eXtreme, etc.) recognize the anonymous name when the dynamic block's effective name I desired at all times.
SUGGESTIONS FOR EFFECTIVE RELIEF
Can someone provide some relief; taking the pain out of what is an ever-present 'bane': those ubiquitous and annoying anonymous block names?
I feel that there is a solution.
