Default Symbol Legend, not legend symbol.

    Good afternoon all,

I'm trying to set up a template for a title page for our office. This will have similar, but more, data than a title block. Our office has established a title block but not a title page. I've set up most of the page but I'm having difficulty getting a symbols legend on the sheet. I had considered creating one in a drafting view in the project, but that will be clumsy to transfer from project to project. Since the symbols are all part of the Revit family tree, wouldn't there be a way to have Revit create the symbol legend?

    much appreciated in advance!

Default Re: Symbol Legend, not legend symbol.

We use a Revit Legend view for our symbol legend, with detail lines, filled regions and text to "simulate" the appearance of callouts and tags. It may not be "pure" BIM, but it gets the job done.

If you build whatever you end up using into your template file, you could avoid transferring it between projects.
