Default Architectural model is set above 0'-0" so the copy/monitored levels don't match the Arch levels

    Hi All,

I am setting up a new structural project and when I linked in the arch model I found that Level 01 in the arch model is at 96'-0". So when I started copy/monitor for the levels, they didn't match.

Here is what I though of:
    1. I though of simply relocating the project, which fixed the problem, but I am sure if this a correct approach.
    2. I tried acquiring the coordinates from the arch model but nothing changed.

Please advice, what is the best practice to fix this issue?

    Thanks a lot.

Did you check if the arch model is using Project Base Point to Display 96'?
If so, no shared coordinates are involve so just relocate your project.

Yes you are right, the architectural base point is showing 96'-0".
Can you please explain the other case? what if he didn't relocate his model?

You would then use Shared Coordinates. Shared would display site elevation(96') and project would display 0'
