Something I can't see and can't erase,,,

Good morning,
I am working in Paperspace and when I do a Zoom extents the border sheet drops down to the lower right and is quite small. Something is out space which prevents a proper Zoom extents. I have tried Erase ALL, removed what I want to keep but that doesn't work. Turned on all the layers but I don't see anything . Tried the erase ALL and removal again. Still doesn't zoom properly. I could try copying everything to a new drawing but that entails Model space and Paperspace elements. I will try just as an experiment but I would rather be able to clean out the junk which is causing the problem.

Do the Erase All trick again (removing what you want to keep), but use the LIST command instead. Does that help any?
Turn QTEXTMODE on. Any text boxes show up?
Thaw and turn on layer 0 and Defpoints (items on Defpoints are visible but are un-selectable when layer 0 is frozen)
Copy the border, viewport, etc. from the layout in question to a new empty layout. Does the same behavior go with it?

If QTEXT doesn't work if identiify, it maybe a block with an insertion point off in the ozone layer. Yoy cantry running BEDIT against all the block names in the drawing.... tedious though if you have a plethora of different blocks.

you can try changing the color of your back. I have got files from others who have place who knows what somewhere in a color that is the same as my background hard to find. turn on and thaw all layers

The centre point of a (large) radius dimension will also give this effect.

Also set PDMODE to 3, there might be a point out there, that needs deleting.
