Default wall layer not wrapping for door family with jambs

I recently created a door family with jambs and in a plan view the wall layers do not wrap even though the wrapping layer is checked. there is something I did or didnt do when building the family and I can figure it out.

I tried attaching a revit file that has the door family with jambs and an OOTB door that does have the wall wrap at inserts but I keep getting a red !.

When you are in the family editor you need to create a location for Revit to wrap to. Add a reference plane in the family and be sure the 'Closure' option is checked off on the properties of the plane. You can have two planes in each hosted family, one for the outside closure and one for the inside.
Be sure you add parameters to control the location of that closure or at least lock it to a location it will always be in.
