    Default DIMENSIONS

hope I am in the correct place.

Trying to get the dimension line to "not" break because the text is taking up the space... depending on the scale factor use the text may be larger or smaller the larger the text the chances are greater that the dimension line will break.
"WE" the company owner and myself are always adding lines to correct this problem. Its an extra step that I would like not to do.
    Please see attachment
    Thanks

Playing around a little, I found that the "Fit" setting for Text Movement affected whether or not the line would break when the text was moved. If it's set to "Move text, no leader", then the dimension line breaks, but the dimension line stays when it's set to "Move text, add leader".

Looking at your image, what are the property differences between the 7'-2" dimension and the 6'-5" dimension?

ok, I will agree with that statement
    thanks...

but I also have dimensions that are at the home positions, have not move them, and when the annotative scale is change the break appears again...
placing a dimension of 3'-4" for example and a scale factor of 1/8 or smaller the dimension line breaks
I have to draw a line over the dimensions to get it to look correct
