Question Sherwin Williams - Paint keynote by material

Has anyone else noticed that the SW paint library won't keynote by material? You can keynote by element and user. Yes, I checked the keynote itself and I only see Keynote Value and Keynote number.

I can however, use the material tag, which...I guess is ok. Still curious if it's possible, or if it will always chose the wall material behind it. i.e. 5/8"GWB - 3-5/8"MTL ST - 5/8"GWB and it finds the GWB only. Shouldn't it be able to decern the difference between GWB and the Paint?

I may have just answered my own question, but still would like to know how others are going about this. Thanks!

Default Re: Sherwin Williams - Paint keynote by material

You would need to add the keynote to the material that you want to tag.
If the "Finish" is an actual material within your family you should be able to add the Keynote Number to the Properties of that material and then you can keynote by material.
