Default Choosing work plane side for sketch

How do I choose which side of a work plane to sketch on? I am trying to sketch text to be embossed. When I choose the work plane Inventor automatically orients my sketch so that the text embosses in mirror image. Perhaps Inventor doesn't have sides to a work plane. If so how can I reverse the sketch orientation?

RMB on the plane and select Flip Normal.

Flip normal is not an available option when I RMB. I tried to customize the mouse buttons but flip normal was not an option.

Typically the plane must be flipped prior to sketching. Try dragging the EOP to just below the plane before you flip it. If that does not work, then you either have to recreate the sketch, or delete the plane, recreate it and then redefine the sketch.

Thanks Bunny. It appears my problem was that I had sketched on an origin plane. Creating a new plane and flipping it did the trick.
