    Default complex dome

I'm looking for some advice on how to build a segmented dome that goes from 16 sides at the base to 6 sides at the top. And not just a blend - the segments need to curve like a dome. I'm scratching on head on where to even start with this so any help is greatly appreciated!

Sounds like a fun challenge! How do you imagine the transition from 16 to 6 will work? Sixteen doesn't even divide into six...

    Jessica,
Do you mean similar to an igloo?
If you just need the geometry and it doesn't need to be parametric you can do it as a couple of revolves (one for glass and the other for the horizontal framing) and a series of polar arrays for the 'ribs' at each ring of panels.
I'm sure one of the Dynamo savvy users could probably come up with a way to do it in Dynamo to automate and parameterize it.
