Smile Move selected objects to new layer and keep properties

    Hi everyone!

Could someone tell me how can I move selected objects (in different layers) to a new (and single) layer and keep all properties like colour, that are in properties of a layer?

The only entity properties that are in common with layer properties are Color and Linetype. So that's the only ones you need to worry about. First I would check to make sure that they are ByLayer and change them only if they are. Then get the properties of the layer the entity is on and set the Color and Linetype. Finally, change the entity's layer to the new layer. But this sounds like it would create a very messy drawing. Can I ask why you want to do this? I'm thinking that groups might be a better solution.
