Thumbs up Gaming Computers for CAD Workstation?

Does anybody have experience using a high end gaming laptop for a CAD workstation? I'm thinking of buying a DELL Alienware 18" (DKCWX04B) laptop for CAD.

    Intel® Core™ i7-4940MX processor, 4-cores, 8MB Cache, Overclocked up to 4.4GHz w/ Intel TurboBoost

    18.4" WLED FHD (1920 X 1080) TrueLife Display

    Video Card: Dual NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX™ 980M with 8GB GDDR5 each (NVIDIA SLI® Enabled)

    32GB Dual Channel DDR3L at 1600MHz

    512GB mSATA SSD Boot + 1TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s

If you're going to spend that level of money, look at Boxx. At least they know how to spell CAD, unlike Dell

Dual video cards will be a waste unless you are using software that uses GPU rendering. And I wouldn't recommend doing that with a laptop.

Thanks CADTAG and DGORSMAN ... I'm comparing BOXX 17" laptop to the DELL Alienware 18". I will be using AutoCAD and REVIT for 3D modeling and NAVISWORKS for review.
