If someone could please point us in the right direction
So here it all is in a nutshell,
We are fabricating composite aluminium architectural Panels, and we are having issues with the bend radius when adding flanges on our 3D models.
The material that is being used is composed of an outer and inner layer of aluminium ( approx. 1/32" thick) and about 1/8" thick for the middle core (which is a composite material). the total thickness is 4mm approx.
Is there a way to eliminate the outer bend radius for flanges. We tried making the material as thin as possible in the parameters to bypass this, but we still get a radius on the bend no matter what the thickness is set at. Is there a way around this issue? The reasoning behind this, is that along the bend line, we mill out all the material except the outer layer of aluminium. therefore the radius on the bend is virtually non existent or practical for us.
So for design, presentation, unfolded and elevation purposes we want to eliminate the radius, and have square and sharp bends.
I hope someone can help..... I'm starting to loose my hair on this one.
