Many years ago, I there was a known issue within Revit when printing to PDF via vector, sheets with large areas of filled regions or lot of graphical information. Data would go missing. What you saw on the screen wasn't what you saw on the PDF. Results varied. The solution seemed to be to print to Raster.

So since there (somewhere around 2008 or 2009) I've been printing to Raster using Presentation Quality.

Now that I've got jobs going in 2016 and we've started printing some of them I've notice the print quality looks horrible when printing raster no matter what I do.
I'm using the Bluebeam Extreme plugin and they look horrible. I'm wondering if anyone else has run across this issue yet if they've found a good solution.

I'd rather not have to study every sheet to make sure the PDF revit generated matches what was on the screen.

I know they've kicked some of that process to be done in the back ground.
I wouldn't think this would be the issue, but just wondering if anyone else has come across this same issue.

Thanks in advance.
