    Default Panel Schedule CKT

This just happened today. One of our engineers likes to do everything his way in our Revit models. Families pulled in from the internet, his own naming and drawing standards. So, he came to me saying the panel schedules are not working correctly. Duh! I'm actually not sure how he got the end results. The CKT column seems to be pulling the Panel Name. Any ideas why this might be? Attached screen shot.

    Thanks.

    ugh, downloaded families...
you need to edit the families being used and map the parameters (Voltage, Apparent Load, Number of Poles at a minimum) in the electrical connector to the correct shared or project parameters used in your office (click properties on the connector itself). open a family that works and see what those are mapped to if you're not sure. i usually create a Type parameter with the identical name as the 3 mentioned earlier... you may want to strip all the manufacturer bs out of the electrical and identity parameter lists, they like to force those, just a pet peeve (more for light fixtures if you are scheduling them)

Thanks for the info. I will keep it in mind for future issues... which there will be. But, I stumbled across what the issue was. Which I didn't even know was an option for a panel. In the Circuit Name of the properties of the panel. There was a drop down menu with options, one of which was Panel Name. Which apparently changes the naming scheme of the circuiting. I'll attach a screen shot. Capture.JPG
