Controlling length parameter from adjustable Type parameter

I have a visibility type parameter controlling the frame type on a skylight window. Each frame type has a different height which controls the glass structure on the top. I need to control the height of this structure based on which frame type is selected within the model. The current parameter i have controlling the glass is 'UpStandHeight' to which I have no formula.

What would be the best way to make this adjust to the height of the frame automatically when the user adjusts frame type?

Lewis- can you post the family or screen shots of what you have currently and what you are trying to accomplish. We can get you squared away then.

Wow, this is a perfect family in which to use a <Family Types…> parameter to control visibility (and glazing structure offset) based on what frame type is selected. That’s Your StandUpHeight; a <Family Types…> parameter. Have you explored this?
