Default Any way to change the default text leader position?

Has anyone found a way to change the default position for the leaders on the left and right sides of text boxes? Default OOTB Revit is Top on the left side, and Bottom on the right side. To me this looks super funky with multi-line text notes. We use Top for both sides in all our projects, but we always have to remember to change the setting every time Revit is opened. Having it default to Top on both sides would be super helpful and save us a lot of time, and help our drawings look more consistent.

From the old hand drafting days, that was the convention; at least as I was taught it. Leaders should always go to the start or the end of a note and should always be left justified.
No idea how to change it, but I thought it held the last time a user changed it.

It holds for an entire Revit session. Once the program is closed and opened again, it reverts to Left Top and Right Bottom.

I actually just looked up some old scanned drawings we have from 1967 of a building we renovated a few years ago. All the hand-drawn notes are left justified, with leaders coming off the top line for both sides, either right or left. That's how I've always done it, even when I was hand drafting in high school in the 90's.
