Create materials categories inside library in vb.net

Hello every one !

I will try to explain my problem, despite my poor English :

I have an Ms Access database, i can import materials from the db to revit using vb.net macro.

The materials are group by family name in the database.

Now i would like to create, in vb.net, library categories (one material category by family name in Ms Access), and import the materials from Access in each category in Revit.

Is It possible ?
Do you have any example that can help me ?
