    Default Need help with Help file

    Hi All,

    Code:
    (help "mk:@MSITStore:C:\\Mydims\\help\\Mydims.chm::/Autodim.html")
    Works great in 2012 lisps but not in my 2016.

    any pointers?

    Many thanks.

    Thank you, I have tried solutions from that post last week without success in 2016. (it did help with 2012 version!)

    In AutoCAD 2016 testing with the following syntax works (opens a web browser):

    (command "._browser" "mk:@MSITStore:C:\\Mydims\\help\\Mydims.chm::/Autodim.html")

    I would like to call the CHM Help file directly and not go via web browser.

    If only Autodesk could get VLIDE Help to work properly, since they borked it up following Online Help implementation - not sure about VLIDE in vanilla AutoCAD, but in Civil 3D, only ActiveX functions properly display (in .CHM no less, Haha!), but the non-ActiveX functions that launch Civil 3D's 'help' window just display the default landing page (no LISP function is even able to be searched). Grrrr

    Pathetic.

    One reason I keep these sitting around.

    They are searchable. I've been using them for 15 years, I know where to find what I need.

    Updates are a problem however

    Haha... Can you post a Screencast, or Jing, of your using Ctrl+F?

    Oddly enough, that last bit is my primary issue with there no longer being Table of Contents, and Index for AutoCAD Online Help. Grrr
